I am so ready for Summer! This heat wave in Georgia has made it feel like Summer is already here. I am looking forward to spending more time outdoors and time with my husband, friends, and family.

Wanted to share a couple fun date ideas for this post!

  1. Play tennis - My husband and I play tennis together and have so much fun! It's a great way to get some exercise and spend time together. We bring a speaker up to the courts and listen to music while we play!

  2. Volunteer at a VBS - I loved going to VBS as a kid, it definitely makes me think of Summer. I know it takes a lot of work and volunteers to make sure things run smoothly. I think serving together is a great way to spend some time together.

  3. Take a Hike - We are spoiled here in Georgia with lots of hiking trails and other parks. If you have some in your area this would be a great date activity.

  4. Watch the Sunset - My favorite sunsets are at the beach, but you can always watch the sunset from wherever you are.

  5. Complete a Home Project - Spend some time and a little money getting your outdoors ready for Summer! Take a trip to Home Depot to get some fresh flowers or other supplies you may need.

  6. Go Strawberry Picking - I did this a long time ago with my family, but I would love to go with my husband. The strawberries were the best I have ever had!

  7. Watch a Little League Game - Summer always reminds me of baseball season. We live near some baseball fields, so I definitely plan on doing this at some point this Summer. I think it would be so much fun to get some food from concessions, and then watch a game! Remember to be respectful of the players and other patrons.

  8. Enjoy Dinner & Live Music - One way to make a dinner date night more memorable is to choose a restaurant that has live music!

  9. Make Homemade Popcorn - We did this last month and it was so much fun and so easy! The homemade popcorn would go great with a movie at home!

  10. Watch Fireworks on the Fourth - I love fireworks! I always try to see a couple shows that are put on in my area. Last year we were at the beach for the fourth and it was magical! I would love to try to make that happen again this year!
